I've moved off MSTS simply because RailWorks is much better 
I believe a MSTS 2 is coming out soon which is basically RailWorks... There should be some updates on UkTrainSim if there are any.

I have found some updates and I had a quick look through the diesel loco section and the only british thing I found was a class 153

If anyone else is looking for updates for MSTS try UK Rail Sim.
There are lots of different free add ons of lots of different classes but one problem you need to wait in a cue ,often very long so it may a while to download

Theres tonnes of stuff on UKTS. You do need to either buy a route with stock at £5.50 to get a months unlimited downloads, our you can buy premium access to the site. Every diesel and many many steam classes are covered in multiple liverys plus thousands of items of rolling stock. With the BIN patches as well MSTS is a totally different beast to what it was originally, and it wont break the bank to run any activites like it does with railworks.
